This compilation features 27 new covers of songs originally written and recorded by the late visionary Arthur Russell, who would have turned 70 this May. These interpretations, spanning all eras of his career, reflect the immense influence left on a new generation as more of Arthur's archival material has come to light and permeated our lives.

All proceeds from this release are being redirected to Black and Pink, a volunteer-based organization supporting LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive prisoners and working toward prison abolition. Those living with HIV need our support now just as much as in Arthur’s day, and the liberation of poor and incarcerated LGBTQ+ people is essential in order to ensure futures for new generations of brilliant queer artists.
